Pathways is the only private school in the Orlando area offering a Sports Academy that will introduce high school students to the many fields related to sports that can be a career.
Our Education Model
PSSA integrates the courses needed for graduation and sports-related themes into a core-curriculum. PSSA introduces students to careers in Sports, including the following: Medicine, Broadcasting, Business, Marketing, Health, Communications, Scouting, Management, playing Team Sports, Umpiring/Refereeing, Scouting, Reporting & Journalism, Photography, Psychology, Physical Therapy, Equipment Managing and Coaching.
PSSA provides students with unique access to career mentors, athletes as role models and weekly professional guest speakers.

How we are different
Our curriculum, guest speakers, sports-related field trips, mentors and programs are designed to cultivate academic growth, athletic improvement, character development and leadership skills.
PSSA Foundations of Citizenship and Leadership revolve around these core tenets: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, and Caring.
How the student is involved in the planning
The SAP (Sports Academy Plan) is a plan we establish and agree on together to launch students on their optimal path towards college and career goals. Our students take part in planning their education by creating a SAP with High School Staff and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
Competitive Sports/Teams offered
PSSA currently offers Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Volleyball and Co-ed Flag Football. Our student athletes participate in the Central Florida Christian Athletic Conference. Our home gym is located at Frontline Outreach in South Orlando. All flag football games are played in various locations. We are expanding our sports program each year to meet the changing needs of our students.
